Sharleen is an Investment Associate working out of the YSB Kenya office.
She is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, performing due diligence and structuring potential investments in accordance with YSB’s investment criteria. Prior to joining YSB, Sharleen was a Senior Associate at Endeavor, a global network that supports 2,000+ high-impact entrepreneurs across 40 different markets. As part of the Kenyan founding team, she notably contributed towards the growth of the local network of entrepreneurs and mentors. She also worked at a boutique corporate and project finance advisory firm where she was responsible for the preparation and audit of financial models for small & medium-sized companies in the fintech and retail sectors. Sharleen holds a BBS Financial Economics degree from Strathmore University and is a FAST Level 1 Certified Financial Modeller.
